Research And Implementation Of Web Service Performance Testing On Measurement And Control Network

With the rapid development of computer network technique, maturity of web service, apply of web service in measurement and control network becomes more and more extensive. How to ensure the correctness and reliability of web application becomes more and more an attentive problem. As an important means of assuring the quality and reliability of web application, performance testing getting more and more recognition. But web service testing on measurement and control network faces itself particularities and difficulties, such as environment differences, communicate diversity, unpredictable loads, differences between testing environment and real environment, varied testing objects, etc. There are some performance testing tools. All performance testing tools have limitation in web service performance testing on measurement and control network, such as no supporting particular protocol, single testing object, and insufficiency of automation. So research of web service performance testing on measurement and control network and then develop the performance testing tools have very important signification.In this paper, we make a study of traditional software testing, summarizing the content of aim, principles, flow, methods. We also make a study of traditional web performance testing, summarizing the content of aim, methods. Aim at specialization of web service in measurement and control network, base of current research on web performance testing models, testing tools, we design a simulation model for performance testing (SMT), expound the definition range and test method of SMT. Design and realize a simulation performance testing tool (SPTT), finished development of scripts module, pressure module, monitor module, analysis module, then use it in an instance. This paper contributes both to the fundamental research of web performance testing theoretically, and to the specific practicality.
