Design Of The Wireless Electric Energy Metering Concentrator Based On Embedded System

With the development of people's living standard, ammeters, water gauges, gas meters, heat energy meters have been emerging in large scale in daily life, leading to a great increase in the working amount of metering. The traditional artificial metering is not going to meet the need of modem management due to its various defects. Therefore, the automatic metering system arises with the advantages of high efficiency and fewer mistakes. It can not only replace the tedious manual work, but promise more high-quality services afterwards.This thesis firstly introduces the researching background and present situation of the automatic metering system, then describes in great detail the embedded system and GPRS. After that, it analyzes the designing and accomplishment of the embedded metering concentrator based on the advanced 32 ARM microprocessor.The main work of this designing is to make a research on the development and realization of real-time metering concentrator based on ARM9 embedded platform. The achievements are as follows:Ⅰ. The hardware platform of metering concentrator has been constructed, and the initiative work of the hardware platform has been finished. The advanced 32 embedded microprocessor S3C2410X based on ARM9 is adopted as the main chip. Meanwhile, to meet the needs of the system, the modules such as SDRAM, Flash Memory, GPRS used to collect data and communicate, Ethernet and 485 are expanded. All this raises the hardware performances of the metering Concentrator to a higher level.Ⅱ. The real-time, multi-task embedded Linux operating system has been transplanted to the microprocessor S3C2410X to create a follow-up development of software platform, on which the related application programs are produced. Besides, aiming at the wireless net surfing function used in the system, the thesis gives a detailed exposition about the widely used AT orders especially the wireless net surfing orders.Ⅲ. According to the specific function requirements of the metering concentrator and the communication stipulations of Zhejiang Province and the country, the thesis puts forward the program designing scheme of the concentrator, and emphatically to carry on a research to the wireless data transmission.Lastly, the thesis summarizes the research work, and discusses and looks forward to the application of the automatic metering technology as well as the embedded technology.
