With the rapid development of information technology, industrial production require accurate, fast access to large amounts of data and rapid screening of useful information. In recent years, real-time linux based on ARM embedded system has been thoroughly applied to all fields. Construction of the entire embedded system was put in place the first study. According to different environment, different applications, different requirements on the embedded system design is very different. Paper based on the actual application requirements to fully upgrade the performance requirements for the background, use smart grid development in the terminal equipment used in embedded data acquisition and processing system built in-depth study and ultimately used in practice. Paper, first presented from the perspective of the overall embedded data acquisition and processing system construction method. Retain the original data acquisition and processing module selection, focus on system construction from the perspective of depth. A brief introduction to the system chosen hardware platform constructed on the selected processing chips, memory modules, peripheral circuits and other parts of doing a general introduction to the research methods to do the follow-up support for the hardware platform.Secondly, from the actual needs, with emphasis on non-real-time Linux system to do real-time improvements, upgrades to meet the performance and response time of real-time requirements, analysis of the relevant principles and the realization of the module and process improvement methods is given in detail researches. Algorithm for some combination of cutting-edge technology have also been related improvements. The article lists some of the improved code, supplemented by explanatory text, focused on the key part of the explanation.Then, from the point of realization, introduced after the completion of the compilation system construction, system migration, system of specific guidance on implementation process for specific embedded environment specific design. Finally, build a good system, to add a data acquisition and processing module, through the reserved good interface for performance and real-time aspects of the test. After testing, the system construction to meet the original design requirements.
