Wireless sensor network is a special Ad-hoc network. It has the rapid deployment, fault tolerance self-organization and characteristics. The above described features ensure a wide range of applications for sensor networks such as: military, environment, health, industry control and so on. Recent advances in wireless communication, mirco-eletromechanical systems(MEMS) technology, integrated circuit have enabled the development of low-cost, low-power, multi-functional sensor nodes that are small in size and communicated in short distances. The mature in technique and potentiality of application needs attract more and more concern, wireless sensor networks is becoming the domestic and international research hot in wireless network.Designing WSN is the main part of this dissertation. The numbers of sensor node in WSN are numerous and single node is extraordinarily limited in resource. The all-important aim of designing WSN is to reduce the overall energy dissipated in the network and to maximize the network lifetime. Considering robust and data centering. This paper proceeds with researches as follows:(1) WSN-NodeThis paper discusses the component of WSN-Node. And successfully make the node by using MC19192, MC9S08GT60.(2) IEEE 802.15.4 networkThis paper introduces the IEEE 802.15.4 network first and simply. The paper researches the topology of IEEE 802.15.4 network, and the forming of the topology. Also researches the IEEE 802.15.4 network protocol stack, PHY, MAC layer, robust, energy efficiency, and security.(3) WSN-AODV protocolThis paper introduces AODV first and simply. The paper discusses the main AODV based routing protocol proposals suitable for LoWPANs. And, we present WSN-AODV, a new AODV implementation designed to provide benefits in terms of data delivery latency, network reliability and power consumption, especially in dynamic topology networks.
