Research And Design Of Educational Semantic Web Site Based On Ontology

Nowadays, Web becomes the main information resource with the Web technology's development and popularization. But one of the major obstacles is the fact that most information on the Web is designed with HTML. The meaning of the data is not understandable to every computer on the Web. There are a lot of obstracles during the integration and exchangement in WWW .Tim Berners-Lee brought forward the concept of Semantic Web that is an extension of the current Web in which information would have well-defined meanings. It would assist people and computers to cooperate and interchange . So the essence of Semantic Web would enhance the ability of semantic expression and meet the requirement of Semantic exchangement in distributed circumstances. AGENT would intelligibly research and interview information which are different and distributed in Internet.This paper has researched and analyzed the basic theory of Semantic Web thoroughly. It has also analyzed and illustrated the technologies of Ontology.In the Semantic Web system, Ontology is one of the most important basis. If it would not well be defined, the Semantic Web system would not run successful. In this paper the author has analysed the methods how Ontology is designed ,and builded several the E-learning domain Ontologies which described in OWL, and marked Ontology by RDF.At the end of this paper, the author has introduced the preliminary application of the ontologies that has been built, and put forward the model and structure of Educational Semantic Web Site based on Ontology ,and designed the Educational Semantic Web Site based on Ontology.
