In this paper, current research situation and problems of the key technique—Grid shceduling and Grid QoS are summarized. The author also puts his own opinion about combination of two aspects mentioned above..In this research a novel grid scheduling optimizing mechanism with QoS is proposed, which can be used to guarentee the QoS of grid applications. The specific content contains: two-step scheduling model, multiple QoS parameters mapping method based on FNN,QoS requirements oriented resource filtering algorithm, etc. This mechanism using the FNN to associates applications QoS parameters with grid resource parameters. And then the resource filtering processing is based on this relation to optimize the utility of resources. This paper gives a brief desciption of structures and components of the mechanism, puts emphasizes on the parameters mapping method based on FNN and designing idea, principle, implementation of the QoS oriented resource filtering algorithm.According to the result of our experiment, the mechanism proposed in this paper can bring about a significant enhancement of the two important measurements of grid system: the utilization rate of resources and the rejecting rate of service. The scheduling mechanism proposed in this paper accords with OGSA/WSRF standard. It is a model established on the basis of general Globus service, including GSI,MDS,GRAM. The service generalization and flexibility promote the development and implement of practical Grid scheduling system. Additionally, the parameter mapping method and resource filtering algorithm can be integrated with other Grid services to construct a optimizing scheduling mechanism. Thus, the study is in favor of the basic research work in Grid resource management.
