By implementing multi-advanced techniques, UWB (Ultra Wide Band) technology has became one of the best Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) solution methods. Any wireless communication technique can't break away from the dependence of spectrum, and the spectrum allocation has a direct relationship to the applicaions' performance and future development. Since the spectrum resource is very scarce, it's better to ensure the Electromagnetic Compatibility between different wireless communication systems in the same geographical area for the maximum spectrum efficiency and utility.Since the operation band of UWB is very broad (3.1-10.6GHz) and additionally has different standards varies to different nations. No standard has been published is the biggest road-block of UWB further development in China. There might be the interferences from UWB to other public communication system and it may do harm to the commercial application of UWB unless there has been issued the reasonable standard to limit to out of band emissions of UWB. As a result, it is important to evaluate interference between UWB and other wireless systems.This thesis mainly studies the possible interference between UWB and IMT-2000 FDD systems with the deterministic analysis method and simulation method respectively and presents the isolations distance required to make EMC. And the max PSD of UWB is given. At the same time, some key techniques of interference study were studied in this thesis.The research project is one of China Communication Standard Association's projects. This thesis is totally finished by myself. The result of this paper not only provides a useful basis for UWB system spectrum allocation, but also decisions on the provision of technical analysis reserves.
