Since VoIP, IPTV, Meeting TV appearance, these services cannot be satisfied the by the existing access networks. optical access network technology, especially for passive optical network (PON) technology which have flexible access method and high capacity broadband characteristic develops rapidly.The WDM-PON supports transporting multi-channels (wavelength) in one fiber, and it is point to multi-points passive optical network. The WDM-PON uses wavelength as the identity of user end ONU, so the consumer can use all of the bandwidth individually, meanwhile avoid lots of technology difficulties such as ONU distance testing, time delay compensating, rapid bit synchronization, timeslot allocation and etc, and avoid confliction of signals and broadband wasting. The signal transportation efficiency is high, and shows obvious advantage on network management and system updating performance.This research is one part of "The full services optical access network theory and the key technologies" project (60132040) which receives the subsidization of the national natural sciences fund. The main task is to build the experiment system of WDM-PON full-service optical access network testing platform, and the writer has done the following work:1. studied the thesis of WDM-PON optical access network. Mainly analyzed the character of WDM-PON, key technology and wavelength choice scheme.2. built the experiment system of WDM-PON full-service optical access network testing system, and analysis the system design scheme. According to testing the system, successfully made the full-service of voice, data and video trials.3. tested the system, including optical interface, system transportation performance and service test, and the result shows that the performance of the system is vety good.4. showed the worst value system design method of WDM-PON, discuss the relationship of lost packet rate and bit error rate.5. studied the effect of fiber bending in the WDM-PON. The theories analysis and actual test results showed that G.652 fiber is very sensitive to bending, especially when the long wavelength was in use. The loss of 1610nm reached 2.43dB/turn when the bend radius was 8mm, almost twice of the loss of 1530nm. So using new low-bending-loss fiber has great meaning to solve the WDM-PON optical access network end connection problem.The 1st part introduces knowledge background and the writer's research content and achievements. The 2nd part analyzes character of WDM-PON, key technology and wavelength choice scheme. The 3rd part introduces the design and implements of WDM-PON full-service optical access system, and then tests and analysis. Gives the design solution for the full-service system. Especially gives the study achievements of full-service optical access system multiplexing method and theory. The 4th part studies the effect of fiber bending in WDM-PON. The rang of WDM-PON wavelength is very large, and fiber bending loss changes when the wavelength is different. We uses G.652 fiber to test the effect of wavelength. So introduced new low-bending-loss fibers, that could solve the long wavelength optical access network end connection problem. In the end, the writer concluded the achievements work and give an expectation for the next step.
