The Design And Implementation Of ARIS Based On IP Network Management System

With the deepening of reform and competition intensifies, especially with the rapid development of mobile data services and competition in markets, it demands that the carriers carry out construction of administration of networks, and improve the capability of administration and layout, and prompt the development mobile data services.The day-to-day inspection of the telecom network is an important part of telecom network management. At present, the carriers' large part of the network equipments' inspection is still in the stage of manual, and it is only the simple surveillance to the network element, no automatic capabilities for comprehensive analysis, also lack of a standard management process. It influenced the enterprise's efficiency, and wasted a lot of manpower. On the basis of studying the Modern network management theory, this paper designs the Auto Running and Inspection System (ARIS). The ARIS is a network management system that implements the network elements' operation and maintenance in the form of automatic and electronic.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:1 .The ARIS do the routine inspection work automatically through the form of script and operations to replace the job of the operators. It can make the operating works electronic, automatic, concentrated, what makes the daily monitor work implementing automatically, so that it is no longer needed to input the command in the terminal manually.2.The ARIS not only implements the day-to-day inspection for different of exiting services and devices, but also has good scalability. And it can deal with the future development needs of the data services.3. This paper implements the ARIS, and the ARIS has deployed to a telecom carrier.Through an organic combination of the data collection, data analysis and data view, the Auto Running and Implementing System (ARIS) implements the end-to-end business process of the network maintenance. This system can make the job more efficient with the same manpower, which means it can save the costs a lot.
