The Research And Improvement Of Enterprise Communication Server

M-Business (Mobile Business) is a new kind of E-Business (Electronic Business) which supports open business over wireless communication networks. M-Business provides people a convenient and efficient way to access key business data and exchange information at any time and at any place with their mobile terminals. Enterprise Communication Server (ECS for short) is a typical M-Business platform which integrates various kinds of wireless access technology such as Short Message Service (SMS), Multi-media Messaging Service (MMS), Unstructured Supplement Service Data (USSD), and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), and greatly contributes to the information-based construction of small and medium enterprises.Presently, Enterprise Communication Server is a person-based network focusing on Machine to Person (M2P) business mode. However, the future tendency of M-Business is Machine to Machine (M2M) and open-business mode, which automates service flow efficiently and delivery message instantly. Till now, quite a few methods are available for the communication between computers. Considering simplicity, extensibility, security and the nature of small and medium enterprises, Web Services is obviously the best solution. This thesis proposes an open-business model of ECS based on Web Services technologies and also analyzes the key implementation technologies.Firstly, concepts and business modes of M-Business are briefly introduced, as well as core technologies of Web Services. Then the current status and shortness of current ECS are analyzed. Some key implementation technologies including protocol stack, routing dynamic service loading, flow control, performance and Web Services adaptor model, are deeply studied. Improving resolutions are also described in details. Lastly, this thesis introduces a solution to integrate the business abilities within enterprise application systems using web services technologies.Another key point of the thesis is to study and solve security problems of ECS. The shortness of Security Socket Layer (SSL) protocol is analyzed. A flexible and extensible security model based on WS-Security specifications is designed and implemented.
