Analysis And Practice Of Mobile Phone Software System Testing

System test focuses on the input, output and stability of the whole system. As the last chance to ensure the quality before the product goes to the customers, system test is very important.In this paper, the mobile phone software system test strategy is analyzed; the characters, processes and methodology of mobile phone software system test are discussed.The paper includes three parts: the first part introduces the concept of system test and its important role in the software development lifecycle; the second part introduces the mobile phone software product and the characters of mobile software system test; the third part discusses the whole lifecycle on mobile software product system test, including system test plan, system test development, system test execution, bug report and track, test report analysis and processes improvement; also describes the entry criteria, exit criteria, tasks, common issues in each step.In this paper, a complete system test lifecycle in practice is introduced; the roles and their duties in the system test group, common issues during testing are discussed; useful document templates are also provided. It's a good practice and example for system test project managers and engineers.
