The Design And Implementation For The Report System Of Data & Fixed Department Of Chinaunicom-AIRS

With the competition of telecom market becoming more and more furious and the rapid development of data business, the strategy focusing services and customers is becoming the common choice for telecom enterprises, instead of the the strategy focusing business behind the times. So, the commercial effect and value of BI (Business Intelligence), as a tool which can transform data into information and transform information into knowledge, are becoming more and more obvious. After all big telecom operators started up the blue print and worked further for BI, domestic BI market has walked into a rapid development phase.With the development of Data & Fixed Department of Chinaunicom's (DFDC for short) Charging and Balancing Sub-system for SP (CBS for short), CBS has accumulated a lot of original business data. Base on those data, DFDC need to report balance for CP/SP automatically, and to analyse customers' consumption behavior and requirement to forecast the development trend in the future, so building BI system for DFDC is exigent. As the primary phase product of BI, report system is a credible and convenient report tool for relative operators to view data and analyse business trend. AIRS will satisfy their needs on that aspect.In this thesis, the design and implementation of AIRS is the main topic. The aim of the design for AIRS is to build a flexible and universal report system base on report stencils and modules.As AIRS is a sub system of CBS, I'll talk about the environment of AIRS——CBS, including CBS's building aim, principle, characters, composition and so on. In addtion, I'll discuss the actuality of CBS briefly and forecast the prospect of CBS. As AIRS is a report tool, I'll explain the theory of reoprt and report tool, and introduce JasperReports and iReport which is the core report engine of AIRS. Then, I'll discuss the core of this thesis, the design and implementation of AIRS, in two chapters. The design of AIRS will be expatiated on the configuration, basic flow, components and so on, surrounding the aim of building AIRS. In the implementation chapter, I'll explain some important details when implementing AIRS, including the implementation of report tree, printing report from web page directly and so on. Finally, I'll conclude the actuality of AIRS and forecast the OLAP prospect for AIRS.
