Fornt-end Research On Our Country Natural Scientific Museum To Select Topic Of Display

The museum display is in the certain space. It is based on the cultural relic specimen with the suitable item on display to assist. According to the certain subject, the sequence and the artistic form, it carries on the direct-viewing education by disseminating scientific information and providing the item on display to appreciate. All of those are to bring about the social benefit of museum and to show the achievement of museum. To select a topic is the key link of museum display. Now in the international museum, many advanced museums already used the front-end research to carry on the study and the assessment of selected topic and has obtained the good effect. The start of our museology is too late, so it has already been in the initial stage. This article is to introduce the definition, the development course, the function and the status of front-end research and some general methods of front-end research in the overseas, thereby establishing the suitable workflow for the Natural Sciences Museum in China. By this opportunity of the new display of Northeast Normal University Natural History Museum, that can text the correctness and reliability of the model. It not only increases the scientific and effective methods for the selected topic of Chinese museum display, but also opens the new research area for our museology.
