Embedded System Development Platform

With the development of deep submicron IC technology, the global semiconductorindustry has developed unprecedentedly in the broad market, and embedded systems alsohave tremendous development. For its short cycle, low-cost and high reusability,embedded system development platform has become the main channel to developembedded products. As a wireless transmission protocol, Bluetooth has low powerconsumption, and it's easy to use and easy to implement. As these features, Bluetooth hasbeen widely applied, and' it becomes the necessary application function of embeddedsystem development platform.Because of this, in this paper, based on the embedded system development platformmodel, researches have been done on the platform's main application layer, and theapplication layer has become the IP Core Combination. As a result, the design process ofelectronic products (target embedded systems) becomes the process below: IPdevelopment and combinationâ†'testing and verificationâ†'flow tablets and large-scaleproduction. This method can meet the rapid listing of low cost and high reliabilityrequirements; in this paper, a Bluetooth baseband controller in the form of IP core hasbeen designed and realized.Based on the introduction of the realization the hierarchical model-based embeddedsystem development platform, in this paper, the basic functions and design idea of theapplication layer of the system development platform have been analyzed, using theservice that the interface-layer provide, aimed on the wireless communication function ofthe development platform application layer and based on Bluetooth Protocol Specificationv1.1, in this paper, the Bluetooth baseband protocol and function have been analyzed indetail, and a reducible modules partition method of Bluetooth baseband has been bringforward. According to IP core design, the data processing of Bluetooth has beencompleted, including the design of data whitening, 1/3FEC, 2/3FEC, HEC, CRC,correlator and the Tx/Rx controller.
