System Design And Analysis Proposal To Develop The Monitoring System For Air Cargo's Door To Door Service (D2D)

After reading this thesis I hope you'll agree with me that the Unified Modelling Language UML is very exciting development for building many kinds of models for the first steps of the software life cycle, and that makes objective oriental programming easier, more productive, and more interesting.The system analyzer is the link between the customer who's using natural language and the software programming team who's dealing with machine language 'programming language'; So one of the basic tasks of the system analyzer is to understand the real situation of the problem and start giving proposed solutions to solve this problem.The problem that I am going to solve in this thesis is facing the door to door service(D2D) in air cargo business; this problem is the delay of deliveries for the D2D service. Some times because of some defaults in the company work execution some shipments will be delivered late, and that will cause losing for these companies. So my thesis was done to give an affective and economic easy solution to solve this problem. It is a monitoring system to trace all the work of this company.The main idea of this system depends on dividing the shipment track into many sections according to the company work situation; then this system start monitoring these sections by adding stick paper "sticker" on each shipment box to write the arriving time of this shipment to each section of its own track. After delivering this shipment to its final destination this sticker will be taken back to the company; by inputting these times in the system, it will be able to give out reports about the tracks and help to find out the reasons of the delay in the company work. Then this software will give the requirements reports about the work in these sections and the responsible manager can use these reports to find out the places of the default.In this thesis I will give the analysis for this system using UML and give the system design and user interfaces design using UML. And then I will come out with my conclusion and recommendation for the future work. Finally in this thesis I presented one solution 'system' to solve the delay in the Air cargo D2D service; and I gave the requirement analysis and the design for this system. And this new system is able to be expanded to use it in other cargo business applications.
