As an important part of the elevator, the elevator door control system cannot be ignored. So far, there are still many problems in the existed elevator door control system. Nowadays elevator door control system in the market cannot automatically adapt to different door. As a result, installation and debugging become very complex.Compared with other kinds of motors, Permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has simpler configuration and easier maintenance and runs more reliably. Also, it can be controlled easily, has good drive performance and runs efficiently. The intelligent elevator door control system base on PMSM has become a hot topic among elvevator door research. However, for various reasons there is no such kind of door control system in the market.Accordingly, the purpose of this paper is to design and develop a motor drive system base on PMSM for elevator door in order to satisfy requirements of easy control, good drive performance, high torque-to-weight ratio and high real-time processing performance. This paper analyzes how to select motor and encoder after introducing the hardware design. The major attention of this dissertation is focused on software design. The third chapter begins with the introduction of overall software design. In virtue of modulization, this paper concretely describes each module and their design flows such as user-machine interface, parameter access, motor control, auto-study on door-width and open-close control. Auto-study on door-width and open-close control is explained with great emphasis. In order to make the debugging work easy, this paper introduce the developing process of monitoring software with powerful functions. Finally, this paper offers experiments and results.Experiments presented in the paper demonstrate that this control system is reliable, handy and satisfies design requirements on the whole.
