Frequency spectrum is the fundamental resource for wireless commnunucations. Contrast with the rapid development of wireless communication, the frequency spectrum resources is far more limited. Therefore, how to strengthen the frequency spectrum planning and analysis on EMC of wireless equipment is critical for battlefield spectrum management.The prediction of radio propagation loses is the basic problem for spectrum management. The procedures of frequency assignment and the interference analysis rely on the calculation result of the propagation predition. This article focuses on this problem and. research results achieved are listed as follows:1. The propagation predition algorithms of terristral mobile communication system has been realized. The propagation models including Okumura model, Okumura-Hata, the Cost231-Hata model. The test results indicates all prediction algorithms reach high performance.2. The ground wave propagation prediction schemes been studied in the paper The different frequency band propagation characteristic and the surface wave field intensity computational method has been well studied. The influence of ground nonuniformity on wave propagation is also taken into account. The prediction schemes have been implemented and computation results has been tested as well.3. Signaled strength prediction of the sky wave is another major topic in this paper. Propagation loss computation, frequency selection and forecast methods have studied.
