Bistatic SAR system will provide better performance and more abilities, such as range and azimuth resolution improvement, extended mapping swath, elevation information acquirement, and moving target detection, and so on, than the existing spaceborne SAR systems. Bistatic SAR system can't be found easily and is not easy to be jammed. Data processing of bistatic SAR is a difficult problem.This paper discusses several questions about imaging algorithms of bistatic SAR. Mainly it discusses three imaging algorithms-bistatic range migration algorithm, bistatic Range-Doppler algorithm and bistatic Chirp Scaling algorithm.Using Principle of Stationary Phase, a derivation of the precise point response in Doppler-frequency domain is presented. Then a variant squint angle bistatic range migration algorithm is addressed and simulation is made to analyze it. Bistatic range migration algorithm needs Stolt interpolation and high precision, and that requires quite a lot of calculation, so a new bistatic Range-Doppler algorithm is presented. There is no approximation in range model. This paper discusses its theory and processing steps and simulation is made to analyze it. Bistatic Range-Doppler algorithm also needs interpolation or we may deal with the data by cutting it into several subsection, so a new bistatic Chirp Scaling algorithm is presented. To deal with range migration, bistatic Chirp Scaling algorithm only needs multiplication in Doppler- frequency domain. It reduce a lot of calculation.This paper discusses its theory and processing steps and simulation is made to analyze it.
