| With the development of Geographic Information science, Virtual Reality technology, Networking technology, and computer graphics etc,the network virtual geography environment technology has become a new research hot spot of the geography information science. The virtual geography environment is the cross of the geography information system and virtual reality; And network virtual geography environment and virtual geography environment these two combine together, provides larger and vaster space for the numerical permafrost development. But currently network virtual geography environment still exist many problems such as large volume of data, client demonstration and data transmission etc.According to the above problems, this paper presents a more complete solution, emphatically studies three aspects, as followed:Studying 3D modeling technology of terrain model and building model. For the large amount of terrain data using DEM data organization method to generate 3D terrain; for building model, using advanced 3D laser Cyra scanning system to build modeling and load on terrain through Loader interface provided by Java 3D.Studying the ROAM algorithm and its improvement algorithm which based on LOD technology. For the characteristicses of 3D geography data that having great capacity and not easily to show all models,the paper have researched ROAM algorithm and its improvement algorithm which based on LOD technology.The LOD technology solved the levle of detail of the geography manifestation according to the distance of seeing and the geography circumstance.thus.when carrying out real-time rendering of the topography,the system can economize the calculation resources effectively, raise the processing speed of the data. Designing and implementing a network Real Scene Map system. Based on the research,this paper design and implemented a network Real Scene Map system, thus,testify the research's feasibility and validity.In short,the solution proposed by this paper solves some problems of network virtual geography environment in a certain degree effectively. |
