On purpose of the weaknesses of bad convenience, low speed, bad realtime, low reliability and so on in the traditional data acquisition system, the technology of newly advanced FPGA and IEEE1394 bus is used to design the high speed data acquisition system in this thesis, which owns the advantages of good convenience, high speed, good realtime, high reliability and so on and make steadfast base of super high speed data acquisition system.With the human-beings entering information era, especially computer technology is swiftly developed in the IT. Meanwhile, human makes higher requests of data acquisition, transmit and deal in the fields of agricultural as well as industrial production,medicine,study and so forth. Moreover, our country falls behind the others in the field of application by use of high IEEE1394 bus technology, accordingly, this thesis is put forward according to this aim.The system hardware circuit,controlling procedure, driving procedure,application procedure and the simulation of controlling procedure are designed in this thesis. Concretely, signal modification circuit(PGA module),A/DC module, serial interface, dual RAM, FPGA interface, PNP module, FIFO memory module, power supply module,controlling logic,clock circuit and the others are contained in this thesis. The base of data acquisition theory,IEEE 1394 bus,systematical hardware, controlling procedure and aided circuit are designed in detail. In the meantime, the simulation software of Quartus II 6.0 that is supported by FPGA chip in ALTERA corporation is used to simulate the controlling procedure so that the reasonability of this design is tested . Furthermore, driving procedure and application procedure of this system are simply introduced. Moreover, the development of the high speed data acquisition system is prospected in this thesis.With the fast development of IC, network technology, bus technology and so on, DAS will be developed into miniature, high convenience, network and so on and make a significant effect on national economy.
