Microfluidic drivers are the precondition and the base in the microfliudic controllingsystem. At present, although there are so many kinds of micropumps in the different fields, tocome true a lab on chip, micropumps must be integrated with other microfluidic controllingdevices.PDMS micropumps made by multilayer soft lithography have been researched on thesoftware platform in the paper. There are several advantages of the micropumps, includingeasy of fabrication, rapid prototyping, low cost and integrated with other microfluidiccontrolling devices easily. The time and charge of new devices studied can be reduced by theapplication of computer simulation, and make sure the design of devices are reasonable. Themeaning of this paper is that the work of pumps can be understood more better by computersimulation, and then the micropumps can be optimized easily. The kinds and development of micropumps were introduced in the paper, and theapplications of ANSYS in Structural analysis, Fluid analysis, and Coupled-field analysis wereilluminated. And on the software platform, the structure of the micropump was built byANSYS system, and then the relationship between pressure and gas driving thin filmmovement value was analysed, and connection curve through planar model was gained.Secondly, micropump structure in three-dimensional model was simulated and the affluenceof structure on function of the micropump was analysed. Finally, affection of width andlength of gas channel, width and depth of fluid channel and pressure through Coupled PhysicsCondition Simulation were simulated and analysed. And constringency curve and relationshipcurves were gained.
