Direct Torque Control (DTC) is a high performance speed control system developed after Vector Control Technology. During the recent years, DTC has been developed greatly because of its simple system scheme and excellent dynamic and static performances.In DTC scheme, the torque of motor is calculated and controlled in the stator reference frame. By using stator field orientation, the optimum switching mode is achieved to control the flux and torque of motor precisely and quickly. In this paper, double regenerative flux and torque controllers substitute single regenerative flux and torque controllers of the traditional DTC, in addition, the speed PI regulator optimized by AC-BP (Ant Colony Algorithm and BP) neural network substitutes the traditional PI regulator. This paper has accomplished the simulation of the improved DTC system. At the same time this paper has designed the software of the speed close-loop control system using the digital signal processor (DSP) and realized experiment.In this paper the simulation models of approximate circle flux improved control system are presented based on the application of MATLAB/Simulink after DTC scheme is studied and gained the mastery of essential and key. Simulation results show that the improved DTC system has better dynamic and static performances and has proved the feasibility of this method.Based on the theory analysis and simulations, this paper has realized soft program at the pain of TMS320F240 DSP setting. The software of the control system is complied with embedding Assemble Language in C program to accomplish the improved DTC algorithm design. This software has realized functions of the sampling of stator phase current, calculating of the phase voltage, the observing of stator flux and the output of switching signal etc. After debugging hardware and software respectively, the unitary experiment has been accomplished. Experiment results show that the DTC system of combining modern control technology with advanced device has better dynamic and static performances.
