Internet is Rapidly growing and spreading since it was open to public in the middle of the 90's in China. Following newspaper and periodicals,broadcasts,televisions,it was determined as the forth media at UN Commission on news in May 1998.In 2000, Internet media was used extensively instead of the forth media.After a long winter of Internet industry, the Chinese portal sites finally had found the business model, gaining revenue from online advertisement service, wireless value-added service, and online game service. However, the centralize of the main earning originates has also brought keen competition between the portal sites. Under this kind of background, to discriminate the competitive ability of the enterprise is an important question, which the portal have to earnestly ponder.The article includes four parts, the first part is a theoretical part, in which I introduce the basic concepts about portal site; At the second part of this paper ,on the basis of briefly introduction of present status of internal Internet brand creating , the general principle of creating Internet brand in networking era is discussed and concluded; The third part elaborated the enterprise website image design with emphasis and the enterprise website promotion general strategy;Finally introduce compete-tiveness.On the basis of the above discuss,the paper summarizes the general principles of brand shaping in the web age and some new business and a new way of thinking. Although Interent connot replace the traditional businesses completely,we can only shaping a web brand when we treat the web as a kind of new business is a principle in general.Traditional branding strategy is a one direction'infusing'of the image or concept,but on Interent,brand shaping is a process of interaction with the customers to build up the satisfaction and identification about the brand.This is the point where the branding on line difference indicates that it's the first time in the history that the'customer center'principle is followed in deed in the shaping and communicating process of brand.
