Virtual human is the expression of the geometric and behavioral characters of human in the space generated by computer (virtual environment) . The ultimate reason for developing realistic-looking virtual humans is to be able to use them in any virtual scene that simulates the real world . Researches that are relative to virtual human have begun since 70s . There searches in virtual human technology involve computer graphics, kinematics and dynamics, multi-functional perception, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, etc. In the early days, the researches about virtual human always surround human modeling and bottom movement control. But along with the maturation of the simulation technology in human's appearance and behavior, virtual human's researches are more and more focus on emotion modeling and behavior modeling. Furthermore, autonomous virtual human is a very important component of virtual environment.On the basis of constructing 3D outdoor scene and models of virtual human, this paper designs a perspective model in virtual environment. On account of visual perception plays an important part in human's perceptive field, we design two kinds of perceptron: one is collision detective perceptron, the other is attribution perceptron. Henceforth, we implement the two perceptrones and virtual human's essential perceptive functions.From the view of human's perceptive behaviors, this paper makes a research about virtual human's perception and analyzes its characters, contents and the process. In the light of these characteristics, we classify the objects in the environment and present a perceptive model of virtual human.This paper describes virtual human's process in virtual environment. Through access and dispose the information from environment, virtual human can gain the perceptive information. The process of dispose is the core of the design of virtual human's perceptive model. To realize the perceptive functions, we make a method to combine interval arithmetic and reactive behavior rules. Finally, it makes different reactive behaviors to show the result of percept and the intelligence of virtual human. Furthermore, the perceptive model in this paper will be the foundation in the process of constructing virtual human's believable and autonomous behaviors.
