Research On Grid Resource Management Model

Grid is a new emerging technology, which is based on Internet. Its main goal is to provide its users with broader share of distributed resources. It consists of a large number of virtual organizations in which membership changes dynamically. In such an environment, how to manage and use resources efficiently becomes a very important issue in Grid research. Based on analysis of existing grid resource management models, a new resource management model, Classification Market Model(CMM)is described in this paper. Firstly, several kinds of extant grid resource management model are introduced. And then, a classification market model based on the existing model is presented and given the formalization and formulation describes of this model. Then, an emulator is designed to prove the feasibility and validity of this model. In the end, the important results and conclusions of this dissertation are summarized, and further research on topic is proposed.
