Research On Grid Resource Management Based On Market

Grid is a new type of information technology infrastructure based on the Internet, which goal is seamlessly integrating wide area resources to solve problems and achieve the comprehensively sharing of computing resources, storage resources, communication resources, software resources, information resources and knowledge resources. But how to effectively manage the distributed, heterogeneous, dynamic, and autonomous resources is the key issue. The traditional method of resource management for distributed computer system is ineffective. As there are many similarities between the grid system and the human economic systems, it is feasible and superior with the aid of the economic theory to solve the problem of grid resource management. The dissertation mainly studies how to apply the mature economic theories and the market practice achievements into grid resource management, and explores grid resource management solutions based on market mechanisms.First, the dissertation analyzes the conception, characteristic, classification and structure of the grid, summarizes the main grid research projects, and pointes out the challenges of grid development. After giving the definition and characteristic of grid resources, the dissertation analyses the difficulties of grid resources and the requirements, composition, structure mode of grid resource management system, summarizes the description method, discovery mechanism and task scheduling model of grid resources, and thoroughly analyzes the implementation of current grid resource management system.In view of the problems of current market-based grid resource management model, a general grid resources market management framework named G-Mart is proposed.
