This paper describes a multi-purpose space platform design and implementation.Multifunctional space platform with the three largest features: innovated methods for the City Planning evaluation, 3D scene of a large-scale rendering technology used in the City planning system, good integration with existing data sources.This paper discuss focused on the following aspects :System architecture, which includes procedures for module design and scene data organization. System consists of plug-in data acquisition, data conversion and the main program components. The main program design references MVC design model, which is designed to reduce module coupling, increasing flexibility. Program interface combines multi View to allow users to multi-angle observations of the same scene. Scene data organization focused on space scenes tree and space scenes tree index structures. In introducing the space scene around the tree structure of two-dimensional and three-dimensional scene tree scene of two trees elaborate. Index of space in the presentations described KD Split plane tree selection method. Scene Rendering focused on Hatch on the filling algorithm. This paper listed three filling algorithm : scanning fill algorithm, template buffer filling algorithm, Buffer template with texture filling algorithm. Finally, introduce their merits and scope.Data integration focuses on the AutoCAD system from the data collection methods and from 3DS MAX System data acquisition methods, aims to enable readers to the entire system is a complete understanding. Two methods of data collection relies on plug-in to achieve complete, AutoCAD plug-in data export to the database then convert 3DS MAX plug-derived data into VRML file and then convert.Logical network is a focus of this paper. This paper described the network concept is different from the logic of the past GIS logic network. It presents a more general logical network structure that allows spatial information in CAD data to establish logical network. This paper describes in detail the logic of network data organization and several important logic Network including : the establishment of the network automatically, Pipeline length measurement, the pipeline explosion analyze. In introducing the algorithm were given their cost or time sample demonstration.Finally this paper describes a successful project using this system, Guangzhou planning bureau project. All of the system modules are used in this project.
