The Design And Partial Implementation Of Customer-centered Military Data Management Strategy

Customer-centered Military Data Management Strategy (CCMDMS)is a dynamic grid platform for military information applications. It combines the advantages of Semantic Grid, Service Oriental Architecture(SOA) technologies to support for various military information resources' dynamic discovery, collaboration and composition, adapt for resource management under warfare. We imply Metadata Registry Center (MRC), the core module of CCMDMS. In this dissertation we give a deep introduction on the key techniques in CCMDMS and MRC, which mainly focuses on architecture of CCMDMS, framework, metadata storage, resource discovering of MRC . The details include:The architecture of CCMDMS. By research the Global Information Grid (GIG), we conclude that system collaboration and composition begins at the data level. Visible, understandable and accessible is most important . We put forward CCMDMS try to solve these problems.The framework of Metadata Registry Center. MRC is designed for storage and searching metadata. By logic, from top to bottom, there is protocol package layer, object management layer , authorization layer , physical storage layer in MRC. By function, MRC can be divided as registry module, user management module, taxonomy module.Resource discovery in MRC is implemented by discovery metadata. Data producer must share resource discovery metadata accompany sharing resource . Discovery metadata is describe by Resource Discovery Metadata Specification.The implementation of metadata storage in MRC. MRC supply an algorithm mapping metadata to Registry Information Model(RIM), and imply persistent storage.The emphases of the future work on MRC will be on the improvement and implementation of the large-scale collaboration model and strategy execution engine, as well as more development work on applications and systems.
