As an important network synchronization mode, mutualsync has many advantages including flexible networking mode, low cost, high survivability and high reliability, and it is especially applicable to be used in field communication network. On the background of requirements of field communication network synchronization, mutualsync based network synchronization technologies compatible with plesiochronous synchronization, maser-slave synchronization and external synchronization are researched in depth in the paper, and the network synchronization module with advanced technology and certain practical value has been developed. First, the paper introduces network synchronization related technologies, presents important significance of mutualsync technology research and describes mutualsync's theory and applications. For requirements of network synchronization of the field communication network, based on three solutions being presented, DDS solution is selected, and clock frequency measurement, weight distribution, clock quality evaluation, low pass filtering and such key technologies related to scheme design are analyzed in depth. For specific implementation of network synchronization module, circuit composition and algorithm design are mainly described, the design consideration of FPGA and the software are presented, and software design block diagram is given. Finally, the paper introduces the test condition of the network synchronization module, summarizes full text, and indicates innovations in the design and application prospects of the production.
