The Wide Range Multi-Radar Data Fusing Processing System is a dual-processor, dual-network hot backup system, which is composed of the following 6 sub-systems: Front Radar Data Processor sub-system (FRDP), Multi Radar Data Processor sub-system (MRDP), Situation Data Display sub-system (SDD), Control and Monitor Display sub-system (CMD), Data Management System sub-system (DMS) and Dual-Processor hot backup management sub-system (DP DAEMON).This paper introduced the system structure, the working procedures, the key algorithms and the problems and encountered in the system development process and their solutions. The FRDP sub-system includes modules such as radar format conversion, radar data channel selection, coordinate conversion and real-time monitoring of the radar data quality. The MRDP sub-system includes modules such as time synchronisation, preliminary fusing, plot / track correlation, final fusing, track generation and track filtering.1. The preliminary fusing adopts the Mosaic-Weighted Average fusing algorithm, to reduce the computation complicity and to maintain the relatively high accuracy at the same time.2. The final fusing adopts the weighted average algorithm, to further improve the data fusing accuracy.3. To ensure the stability of the system track,α-βfiltering is applied to the single radar tracks before data fusing, and Kalman filtering is applied to the system tracks after the data fusing.4. The plot / track correlation processing is performed before the preliminary and final fusing.
