This paper indicates the application of realistic facial skins and wrinkles' rendering in the fields of criminalistics, archeology, virtual reality, computer game and so on. The current status and the development of this technology are summarized, and various existing methods are analyzed and compared. Aiming at the existing problems of generated wrinkles is not real in the technology of realistic facial skins and wrinkles' rendering and their application in the facial reconstruction, we put forward this research subject.Fine skin structure (it is called fine-scale wrinkles in the paper) is an effective way to increase geometric details of the human skin and a good approach to improve the realism of skin. Although the effect of generating method of skin fine-scale wrinkles is not as natural and realistic as the color texture mapping method, it still receives more and more attention for being easy animated and no characterizes of people. A present method to attain fine-scale wrinkles is to get a detail texture of skin's surface first and map it on a triangle meshes, differing in that the way of getting wrinkles. Considering that the human skin is a kind of natural texture, for this, this paper presents a generating algorithm of fine-scale wrinkles based on IFS (Iterated Function System). Meanwhile, expressional wrinkles and aged wrinkles (they are called large-scale wrinkles in the paper) are formed due to shrinking of the skin surface caused by body part movement is the key factor to improve the realism of skin, also , this paper presents a generating algorithm of large-scale wrinkles based on extracted furrow and fractal interpolation.In addition, due to the face of the facial reconstruction is a lack of hair and facial features is easy distortion, so as to affect person's visual effect, so, a simple and rapid 2D decoration module is presented, it is comprised of creating facial features database and adding facial features and colorization.The experimental results prove that has better effect on facial of reconstruction by usingrendering of wrinkles and 2D decoration. It can reduce the whole rebuilding cycle, improve the efficiency of rebuilding and enhance the resemblance and the authenticity of the rebuilding face, it will make the victim finding and determination faster to some extend. It will promote the process of finding and determining victim.
