Research On The Laser Simulation Technology Of Weapon System

Many years ago ,simulated laser shooting training has been widely popular abroad .However, in recent years its applications is on the decrease .But it has many advantages such as save ammunition and lifelike simulation. According to the existing situation, it is still strong practical value.Generally speaking, receiving equipment is installed on the target. But on this simulator, laser transmitter and receiver are installed on the weapon and target in the installation of optical corner reflectors .So every single weapon can show and record their results of the shootings without mutual interference. Meanwhile a number of weapons can share the same goals in the same timeThe laser shooting simulator is to put laser beam to simulate the Line-of-sight weapons SIGHT and a device that laser beam instead of live fire for firing training. The laser system includes laser transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter concentrates on the selection of lasers and design of circuit. The receiver includes the choice of photoelectric detector and receiving circuit. On the basis of this research, prototype is designed and it is completed the pilot test successfully. Finally, improvement program describes the serial communication method between SCM and PC and data processing via PC, and improves system performance in further.
