Research On Integrated Ship-Shore Data Communication System

Traditional ship-shore communications are limited by simulated transmissions like telephone,fax,telegraph,and so on .Along with the fast development of wireless communication technology, ship-shore data transmissions have changed largely. In recent years some new digital data transmissions are coming forth unceasingly. The new data transmissions satisfy the increasing needs of communication operations. Going with it, a ship has multi-equipments of communication ,the same ship-shore data can have multi-elections. To solve the situation that a ship has multi-equipments used in communication, and use these equipments economically with high efficiency. This thesis puts forward to ship-shore data integrated communication system. Using the ship-shore data integrated communication system can make the ship communication equipments conformity effectively, it has much significance to reduce the cost of ship operation, improve the safety of ship sailing.The thesis analyses data types of ship-shore communication and every transmitting methods, puts forward to and implements a design of optimized project of equipments elections of data communication. And analyses the transmission methods of ship-shore image and video data which is so much. Analyses and compares the compressing methods of image and video data, and according to the needs of ship-shore communication, choose JPEG2000 and MPEG-4 as the compressing methods to process ship-shore image and video data.Aiming to the main transmission method AIS in short range communication, researches on and analyses the main functions and characteristics of technology ,analyses the messages format of AIS,puts forward to using the messages into ship-shore data transmission, like ship auto identification, data span converting, ship report in urgency.Aiming to the new rules of ship's Long Range Identification System, puts forward to a design of the Long Range Identification System which fits the rules.
