Development Of The Distributed Traffic Coordination Control System Based On Internet

With the traffic becoming more and heavier, traffic jam and traffic accident occurring more and more frequently. Traditional traffic control technologies have large limitation. For the traffic competence of road nets running perfectly, it needs not only each expedite road and every intersection time-matched balance, but also the whole traffic coordinated controlling. Aiming this problem, the paper studies the Distributed Traffic Coordination Control System (DTCCS) Based on Internet which adopts Internet and Embedded technology.Firstly, this paper analyses and discusses its actuality and problems in home and abroad. Based on the feature of DTCCS, this article provides the whole framework of DTCCS and analyses its control mode. Based on the system function, the paper designs the software framework and analyses the key technologies of DTCCS.Secondly, by studing the function and traditional application about intersection control system, the paper designs the hardware of intersection control system which used advanced ARM MPU S3C4510B, and analyses its chief functional modules, such as: Ethernet, memorizer and system bus driver.Thirdly, aiming the functions of hardware framework, the paper develops the software platform based on uClinux and analyses its initialization, development and application. Then the paper introduces two boot ways and development of application program on this platform, and carries out the log file system.Fourthly, puts out the model of the upper traffic command system. According to the main menu's function, the paper designs each part's interface of the model. Additionally, it designs and accomplishments the net communication.At last, this paper tests intersection signal control system. Studies the principle of intersection control system and gives out an example specifically.
