With the development of radar signal processing theory, the digital measure technology, with its high speed and range accuracy, is esay to adopt the theory research on digital signal processing to improve the capability. And therefor the research on digital measure technology is provided with theory and project signality. Research on related theory and algorithm is carried out based on the item of modern radar system.Firstly, the two ways to measure range for continuous wave radar in the use of continuous wave double-frequency and multiple-frequency signals and the method to measure distance for impulse radar making use of the character of impulse compressed sigal are present, which are based on research and analysis on the traditional algorithms. Also, it is proved to be feasible by simulations in different signal-to-noise (SNR) and different distance of the objective.Secondly, the algorithms based on linear frequency modulation signals for continuous wave radar and impulse radar are present, which are based on the research of the known algorithms.The algorithms for continuous wave radar use the speed information to eliminate the error. The method to send two frequency signals to correct the warp by way of analysing the filter sink for impulse radar is peoposed.The precison of measurement is increased by adopting the new reference point.And its feasibility and practicability is verified through a lot of simulations in different SNR and different distance of the moving objective.At last, the systems of continuous wave radar and impulse radar are developed based on simulations for modern radar.The optimized algorithms mentioned above are applied to the systems of continuous radar and impulse radar.Then the send module, echo module, receiver module and the measure module are designed successfully for impulse radar.
