Multiple frequency CW radar is regarded as a great revolution to the structure of traditional ranging radar. It can be used in such areas as target range and electronic warfare. So it' s very important to do research on the theory, algorithm ,software and hardware' s design of this kind of radar. In this paper, all of our work surrounds these problems. In the first part of our paper' s work,we put forward several digital signal processing' s algorithms under condition of fixed dual-frequency and multiple frequency. They mainly include FFT phase comparing algorithm and fast ambiguity range' s solving algorithm. At the same time,at the aspect of theory,we give a lot of results, including:performance calculating formula of FFT phase comparing, coincidence relation of calculating result and target' s real range, calculating formula under zeroize FFT or single channel. On the other hand,we give the condition of correctly solving range ambiguity and performance calculating formula of for stagger frequency difference;condition of constraint for deciding stagger parameter value;range' s analysis result for targets with multiple scattering centers or low altitude. This part includes chapter 2,3,4,5.In the second part of our paper' s work,we give the detail design of new-style all digitized radar terminal. This design is based on up to date multi-rate signal processing technology, and is developed from old CW velocity measuring radar' s terminal. At the same time, radar supply oscillator' s design based on DOS technology is also present. This part includes chapter 6.In the third part of our paper' s work,we extend the discuss area in the first part. We discussed the impact for multiple frequency CW raging of target' s nonlinear motion and the theory result is present. Question of finite polynomial' s approach is also discussed, and the theory result is present. This part includes chapter 7.The general work of this paper is summarized and the further research direction is pointed out in the last chapter.
