Research On Service Discovery Based On Personalized Service Matchmaking Degree

Service discovery is a crucial component in information integration systems which use Web Services as its information sources. The purpose of service discovery is to find services that can meet the query requirement by certain user among the large amount services registered in system. UDDI is the standard of business service discovery solutions, and academic researchers focus on the aspect of schema matching. There are two big disadvantages of current services discovery technologies. First, most services discovery technologies are based in the accurate match of the keywords, so it cannot handle with the disagreement of the keywords. Second, the personalized information of the users are not used by services discovery, so the history of how the users did services discovery can not be utilized effectively.Service discovery based on personalized service matchmaking degree is brought forward in this paper in order to solve the problems of match-making of services and use of personalized information. The service discovery mechanism based on the concept of Personalized Service Matchmaking Degree is summarized, the services matching problem on schema level is analyzed, and the concept and way for calculation of Schema Matchmaking Degree is brought forward. Then, the concept of Personalized Information is introduced, and research is made on the utilization of personalized information to improve service discovery.At the end of this paper, the implementation of the service discovery mechanism is described, and an example is showed to evaluate the quality of the result. The result shows that the service discovery mechanism introduced in this paper can get a relatively high service discovery quality; the different choices of services made by different users are also showed in the result.
