Research On Electromagnetic Information Leakage Of PDP Vision System

This paper firstly discussed the background and the trend of TEMPEST technology in a computer system , and the importance of the research on the TEMPEST of the PDP ( Plasma Display Panel ) vision system was also discussed .Then it analyzed the work mechanism of PDP and the diffirence between PDP and CRT,LCD,its electromagnetic information leaking mechanism was also analyzed . A method of distinguishing red and black signal was brought forward and the red and black circuits was partitioned in this complex system according to the concept of red and black in the 3rd chapter of this paper.On the base that the red and black zone was partitioned, the 4th chapter of this paper did a research on the technology of preventing the electromagnetism leakage witch aimed at the red circuits.First it analyzed the signal coupling model and coupling factor,then it gave the research on the design of mix circuit,the restraining of crosstalk interference between red and black signal and the the restraining of the electromagnetic radiation of the red circuit. Comparing to the former methods witch performed all-around reinforcement to the host computer,video cable and display or added strong electromagnetism interference, this kind of technology not only could effectively prevent the information leakage of PDP system but also had many advantages such as reducing the price and making the device convenient. It was a very effective new method.At last it gave a test at the electromagnetic leakage of PDP system ,the result of the test was analyzed and the eavesdropping distance of the red signal leakage was reckoned.
