In recent years,as one of the most important device for real-time signal processing,Digital Signal Processor(DSP chip) is being widely applied. With the development of DSP technology,image processing system based on DSP is widely applied in every field,and the realization of real-time image fusion is made possible. Image fusion technology is a new technology based on the theory of information fusion technology. With the development of image fusion technology,it is widely applied in physic detection,remote sensing,computer vision,weather foecast,military aim identify,etc.In order to fuse Uv image and visible image for the two-channal Uv image detecting system,a timely image processing hardware system based on TMS320DM642 is introduced in this thesis.This thesis emphasizes on the overall and detailed design of the two-channal image fusion hardware system. At first,an overview of image system and related background is introduced.Following,the detailed design of this hardware system is presented. Following,the application of DSP in this system is analyzed,and the hardware designs about DSPs interfaces are deeply analyzed.Also,this thesis details the design of high-speed Printed Circuit Board.Finally,the debugging and analyzing results are alse included.This hardware system can be applied to the two-channal real-time digital image fusion domain. It also can be applied in other high-speed,complex image signal processing domains.
