Research And Design Of Network Learning Assistant System For Self-taught Students

Both enormous wallop and endless vital forces are given by the rapid development of computer technology and network technology. Nowadays, education is not limited to traditional teaching in classrooms and do not reply on a single media. The new education based on long-range teaching becomes a weightily didactical means while the systemic research of network learning which is faced to self-taught students is very less according to current conditions. Self-taught students are important makeup in our national education. Hence, it is necessary to design network learning assistant system so as to help students for efficient learning.This article focuses on systemic learning theory in detail and makes it as a theory guide on system design. This article takes deep analysis on the characteristic and need of self-taught populations for the purpose that it is suitable for them on each system function.This system starts from personal characters of self-taught students and holds on the goal which serves their learning and communications. This system divides knowledge into three difficulty stages for students with different backgrounds respectively and let students choose selectively to master. Given the situation that self-taught students significantly differ from intelligence level and non-intelligence level (characters, hobbies, learning habits, diligences etc.), this system presents multiple media means (texts, audio frequency, video frequency, cartoon etc.) for selective use. In the interest of problems which meet on the learning way, this system also provide various measures. For example, the chat-room does as online discussion and answer. The query-answering module achieves the function of the chat-room when not online. Furthermore, the Blog module of this system, which establishes a special space for thinking over, cements the knowledge which they just learn and accelerates integrated abilities training which include learning abilities.
