| Storage and transportation system is an essential section in the process of petrochemical production and management. The automation of storage and transportation becomes more and more important with the growing of petrochemical production scale, improving of occupation safety and health requirement of environmentalist, and the stricter demand of metering and operating precise and timely aspect.The present situation of storage and transportation control instrument is analyzed in this paper, and the abuse of traditional control system is pointed out. After in-depth research of storage and transportation technics and the Plant Scape system of Honeywell, the writer designs an advanced automatic control system of storage and transportation, lays out the overall architecture of storage and transportation, and provides the supervised control network system. The automation design of the epoxyethane tank farm and loading area in Shanghai Petrochemical Corporation are illustrated in this paper. On the basis of analyzing the requirement of producing and controlling system, the advanced control system was designed according to the features of technics and the control principle of simpleness, safety, reliability, promptness, and preciseness. This advanced control system has been successfully applied and has got positive effect. The paper systemically analyses the formation of storage and transportation control disturbance, then present the anti-disturbance measure, which is the solid foundation for the applying of advanced control system in storage and transportation.The advanced automatic control system of storage and transportation improves the level of modern management in preservation and transformation system, as well as releases working intensity and eliminates the potential accident in producing.
