Development Of Enterprise Resource Planning System Based On Business Infrastructure Software Platform

With the development of Information Technology (IT), the management process is more and more particular, and desires of improving daily business operation by an effective Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in enterprises become more and more strong. However, condition of each enterprise differs in thousands ways, so it requires the designing of ERP system to be based on the individual needs of various enterprises.For the above reasons, this paper presents a universal ERP implementation method by analyzing and researching the apply of basic business software platform to the ERP designing and developing. Further more, the method was applied to the Southwest Normal University Press ERP implementation project by using Kingdee K/3BOS platform and Crystal reports software, which demonstrates the personal development combines customized implementation, can greatly enhance ERP in the application.The main research work done in this paper is as follows:1. An ERP solution for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises is proposed.2. An ERP implementation method is presented;3. The technology business infrastructure software platform structure is described;4. The customized development and implementation of Southwest Normal University Press ERP software based on the business software platform, including: Optimize and reorganize the actual business process of Southwest Normal University press. Customized the publish and the print module of Southwest Normal University press ERP system, and integrate it seamlessly into the financial and warehousing system of the original ERP system. Developed new plug-in software to increase functions of the original system to meet the requirements of the customer. All modules are integrated into a complete system, achieving a seamless interface between the module and the smooth upgrading of versions.5. The Crystal Report software is applied to expand reporting function of the system, and also to meet the special requirements of customers.
