| By the development of distributed technology and artificial intelligence from the 1990s of last century, the Agent technology becomes research focus of a new generation distributed process. From simple and daily work to complicated work, we have seen the potentiality of Agent technology for performing many tasks. The system based on Agent has a lot of advantages. MAS relaxes the restriction on centralized, ruled and ordering control. It offers distributed control, emergency disposal and parallel disposal. MAS can reduce the expenses of the software and hardware. And it solves questions faster.Zeus is a toolkit of developing Agent. It is the production of Intelligence System Research Group of BT (Britain Telecom Company) Laboratory. Zeus is the coalescent of Agent technology existed. It offers integrated environment of developing MAS. Zeus has defined a design method of MAS and the method is supported by visual environment. And Zeus can produce the java source code of Agent by users' customization.For these years, e-business has already made much success in the world. With the constant promotion of the social integrated environment and in order to meet the whole demand of the society, e-business changes the form too. Because Agent system is suitable for solving the complicated , dynamic ,and distributed problem ,and because e-business has dynamic, distributed characteristic, some researchers begin to apply Agent technology to e-business.Firstly, we study the principle of Agent and MAS. Then we discuss Zeus, introduce e-business and probe into the combination of MAS and e-business. At last, we develop an electronic transaction model——Clothes Market. The Clothes Market imitates application of Agent technology in e-bussiness. |
