Concurrent engineering used popularly around the world has brought obvious profits to enterprises. In this dissertation, a system for project planning and team forming system in concurrent engineering on .NET framework is designed and implemented by means of some new achievements of time estimation, project planning and team formation in concurrent engineering which are modified to fit to problems encountered in its realization..NET component applied in this system are introduced, as well as the advantages of .NET component over COM. After that, according to the idea of CBSE, the process of system design is divided into three steps: requirements analysis, definition of the system architecture, and provision of the solution to system componentization. The system is divided to three layers: the presentation layer, the business layer and the data layer.During the process of software development,at first, some shortages are found and overcome to meet the realistic situation after researching into some new achievements of concurrent engineering. The database of the systems is designed according to its design rule. Then, the functions of each module in business layer are clearified as well as the class and the user interface of it. Finally, the process of the system development is studied, and so is the installation. The effect of component is emphasized, such as, simplfying the system structure and shortening codes. After the whole process of developing, some key issues are discussed, such as event-delegation and muti-thread,which are important in simplifying the logic of the system and enhancing the efficiency of the system. In the conclusion part, the main result of the thesis is summarized and some problems for further research are analyzed.
