TD-SCDMA Vector Signal Generator On Basis Of Software

WCDMA, cdma2000 and TD-SCDMA are three international standards for the third generation (3G) mobile communication system. TD-SCDMA standard is proposed by China. This paper focuses on researches of TD-SCDMA Vector Signal Generator. TD-SCDMA is the only system has TDD technology. China is building the TD-SCDMA network, then there're a lot need of Vector Signal Generator. This generator is convenient in changing its working form with software.Firstly, we introduced the developing of the third generation mobile communication system., analyzed the physical characters of the TD-SCDMA, and made clear functions and performance requirements of the Signal Generator.Then the system on TD-SCDMA modes is completed by using ADS software, the simulation results are analyzed combined physical characters.Finally, the software and hardware had been designed according the modularization approach. The system is divided into several functional units which interfaces and functions are described, and design outline of each unit is introduced. In the end, these functional units are integrated into a TD-SCDMA Vector Signal Generator. We test its performance with software 89600. The test results show that its main parameters EVM,ACPR,CCDF reached the specifications of 3GPP protocol.
