With the development of the computer and network technology, people can not be satisfied for the communication application only using the point-to-point communication style. Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW, Computer Supported Cooperative Work) is now an important direction of the computer network technology. Group Communication (GC, Group Communication) technology is the base element of the CSCW, it plays a important role in the CSCW architecture.To implement GC, we usually use the Network Layer Model or the Application Layer Model. The Network Layer Model has a better efficiency but needs the support of the special hardware (e.g. Multicast Router) and the special network protocol (e.g. IP Multicast Protocol and IGMP Protocol).So the Network Layer Model is not widely applied at present and the network model really has a bad expansibility. The Application Layer Model does not need the support of the special hardware or the special network protocol and it is strong in both the flexibility and expansibility.This paper has proposed architecture of JMS Compliant Fault-Tolerant MOM Of Group Communication (JGCMOM). This architecture uses the JMS technology to implement a Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) of Group Communication. The architecture can support the group members with a transparent service of Group Communication. If the MOM crashes, to avoid the paralysis, the communication nodes which is in charge of communication are distributed (Multi-JMS). So this is a kind of fault-tolerant architecture, which can keep the business continuity of the Group Communication.
