Image display is one of the important measures for people to accept outside information . And stereoscopic display can reproduce 3-D information of the scene ,and give more comprehensive and detailed information ,so it has broad application foreground .Traditional stereoscopic display needs to wear other assistant tools ,such as polarized glasses ,concordant glasses or LED glasses ,our eyes are occupied completely .Except looking on the scene , we are inconvenient to do other jobs .Although this technique's (including stereo armet) display effect is fine ,it is not applicable in many occasions .On accounting of this , we have studied auto-stereoscopic display technique based on the lenticuler sheets , that is according to the refraction effect of the sheet and combined with digital images processing technology ,to separate the image into two images ,and send each of them to the user's eyes .By cerebral combination ,plane images are transformed into stereoscopic images with deep information .Auto-stereoscopic technique needs not to wear glasses ,users'eyes are not restricted looking on it ,and completely free ,users can do other jobs at the same time .Therefore it has much more flexibility and practicality.Firstly ,basic knowledge of stereovision and related theory are depicted in this paper . Auto-stereoscopic display technique is based on the parallax of person's eye to determine the form of stereo vision .This technique is a system combined with person's participation , actually display devices just only completed a part of the functions of stereo vision ,and physiological functions of person's eyes completed the left jobs .So in the second chapter stereo vision mechanism of person's eyes is introduced by using some length.In the third chapter of this paper ,to begin with the commonness trait of auto-stereoscopic display and associate with its geometrical model ,we analyzed the geometrical relation to separate the image based on the lenticuler sheet ,and also calculated the distribution character depending on it .By the research of sub-screen and physical feature of view separation ,we computed the position of separate view zone farther .By the research of optical theory , we developed a sample equipment.In the forth chapter , we made a research of image format applicable to auto-stereoscopic display and its transformation method ,and write a software for the transformation of stereo-pair images .The typical multi-image showed the transformation effect ,and the experiment approved the correctness of designing method.There are two innovations in the paper:1) Physical metal of the displayer was summed up two process separation and convergence .Put forward sub-screen and fictitious screen , these two conception and"separate view zone"explain the physical feature of the displayer ,so it has guide sense .2) Put forward and applied"dynamic fitting method", needn't spend much to buy special equip ,developed a sample cheaply .The thought and method deserve to be used for reference .
