Research On The Technology Of Stereo Picking Up Images And Display

With the development of the imaging technology and computer processing technology, the two-dimensional picture can not be satisfied by people who pursue the stereoscopic vision. Especially in the field of medicine, the request of display system which is used in operation is enhanced increasingly. So the research and development of stereo picking up images and display technology is impelled. This paper is designed to be a whole set of stereo picking up images and display system precisely in view of this kind of demand with the aid of stereo television technology achievement and combining the computer stereo display technology.In this paper, the fundamental of stereoscopic vision and the realization means is introduced briefly. It is discussed in detail that using of the double CCD picking up images system and the image grabbing card to realize the hardware realization method of stereo picking up images and display system and to apply the DirectX technology to realize function of accelerating the video hardware and accessing memory directly. Then the stereo feeling is gained by the observer through combining the LCD modulation screen with the passive polarized glasses.This technology has reached to the applied degree and been used in medical appliance at present. It can be used not only in the stereo observation but also in the project detection. And it has the much application foreground in the field of video entertainment and education.
