Along with development of the society economy and people's consume consciousness raise, more and more people have enough money to buy the car. The car manufacturers are striving to improve the quality of the automobile on adding new function and advanced technology to attract consumers. Some electronics products which used at the limousine at past now have used at the normal automobile, such as ABS, remote-key, smart remote-key, air-bag, and so on. In order to expand the market, our company cooperate with the FAW (First Auto Work) and we supply the motor windows' controller for them, the name of the project is PQ34. At past we cooperate with the Toyota to produce the motor windows' controller but Toyota offer us the equipment only and does not open the code of the program. So we can not develop the new project base on the old equipment and in order to break the technique monopolization and to economize cost our company deside to develop the motor windows' controller's test system.Based on the research of PXI bus and virtual instrument, the thesis applies the technology in the practical production test project and develops the platform of motor windows' controller's test system on PXI. At first chapter this thesis introduces the concept of the virtual instrument: the virtual instrument (VI.VirtualInstrument) is the combine of the testing technology and the computer communication technology. The concept of the virtual instrument was lodged by National Instrument Company of American at 1986. There have many descriptions of the virtual instrument; above all the VI is to add some software module and hardware module on the PC, so that the user can operate this PC like a real instrument. At the second chapter the thesis expatiates on the technology of PXI, the characteristics of the LabVIEW,the structure and the function of the platform of testing system. PXI (PCI Extension for Instrumentation) was define by NI company at 1997 which is the host bus standard of the testing instrument. It developed the PCI bus technology to fit the electric and software criterion and experimentation and accordingly come into being a new structure of the virtual instrument. LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is the software which used extensive in instrument control, data analysis and data gather at international. PQ34 motor windows'controller's test system make stronger and improve the old windows'controller's test system, and on the other hand it has better updatable and expansibility. We can use this test system at the other type windows'controller project by update the system's software or change the mechanical clamp. The testing system integrated the virtual instrument such as DMM, signal generator, oscillograph and so on, it can replace many traditional instrument. This system has the capacity to analyze and process data together with measurement, which the traditional equipment can not realize. This system also can output data report, preserve date and print. Then in the third chapter this thesis mainly discusses the methods of developing virtual instrument such as digital scope, digital multimeters, with LabVIEW modularization instruments based on PXI, and introduce the program development process of the testing project about LIN bus. Many applications and examples of using these virtual instruments are illustrated. Based on these virtual instruments and equipments, we designs and develops test platform of PQ34 window controller, what is more, the controller is used in assembly line to test formally. At the end of this paper, I concludes the developing process of this test system platform of auto window controller test system. Compared with previous test platform, using virtual instrument technology to develop test platform reduces the developing process and save developing time. Much work of signal adjustment and data collection which need manual design can be realized through the modularized product supplied by PXI system. While the high efficient LabVIEW virtual instrument programming software supplies convenience to software programming. On the other hand, there are shortages in this paper. As for the sub vi process of LIN test, I does not understand the instructions of the practical requirement. In the future work, the author needs to learn the products fatherly to do test well. We developed the platform of motor windows' controller's test system, and uses it in the production line formally to test product. At the end of the thesis, concludes the developing process of the platform of motor's window's controller test system and illustrates the advantages and disadvantages of this platform's development and personal feelings and achievements.
