Java-Based Remote On-line Monitoring System

At present, with the development of internet and computer, real-time monitoring system emerges was the new target of enterprise.The shortage still exists in the research and application of condition monitoring at home, such as simplex method, half-baked sensor configuration and so on. According to the project that contains the study and design of state monitoring in a certain domestic iron and steel company, this paper is made.The key technologies of remote real-time monitoring include signal collecting and handling, remote data visiting technology and drawing real-time tableaus.This paper has completed three main jobs: demand analysis of monitoring system, the total design of system and database design, the realization of system software.In the demand analysis, we analyze the main structure and function of monitoring system firstly. Entire system includes data acquisition and on-line monitoring by client. According to the independence of platform, we select Java technology to realize remote monitoring.During the system total design, we decide that the data acquisition adopts the C/S pattern and remote on-line monitoring daopts the B/S pattern, then, we complete the structure design of system and realizing scheme. According to the real-time demand of monitoring system, we complete the construction design of DataBase.The software of system includes two parts: data acquisition and on-line monitoring in client. According to the data demand and the data flow diagram, we design out data collecting regulation. This monitoring system adopts Java Applet to come true, whose characteristic lies in the platform independence. As long as holding browser supporting Java, the client can get the monitoring views. The monitoring software adopts Native-Protocol Pure-Java Driver in JDBC to visit DataBase. The technology of database connection pool has been applied to the system. It is easy to manage the database connections and access speed has been improved.This system runs well in the lab. It is very stable and owns good real-time performance.
